Chairs Team

President

The President of the session represents all the attendants. He participates in the selection process and -according to the timetable established- leads the conference.

Ilir Kola (AL)

He studies a masters in Artificial Intelligence by the University of Freiburg and Mallorca 2016 will be his 28th EYP session, out of which 20 of them took place in a mediterranean country (3rd one in España) This is how he would describe Mallorca:

"As people who have already worked with me have probably noticed, my idea when leading a team is to provide the participants with the possibility to develop without putting pressure on them. I believe the most important thing when learning is to enjoy the process. For the delegates, Mallorca will offer a platform where they can not only discuss and get information about different issues, but also analyse these issues and create a stance. Furthermore, delegates will not only become experts on their topic, but it will be possible for them to actually engage with the other committees during committee work, with an aim in starting the debate process before the resolutions are finalised. When it comes to officials, my aim is to provide a framework for them to develop their skills and try new things. Myself and the board will only offer the general setting as well as constant support, and the chairs as well as the other team leaders will have the chance to build on this setting and reach their personal goals. The overall atmosphere will target at creating a relaxed learning environment, but it will be up to every participant to decide how much to get from this experience."

Vicepresidents

Together with the President, they are Board members of the session. They help the president to ensure the Chairs Team and the session itself fulfill their expectations. The two VPs will be: Isa Cantalapiedra (ES)  and Darya Savishchava (BY).

Chairpersons

The chairpersons are EYP Alumni who are in charge of a committee and, therefore, must motivate their delegates and provide support during the core activities of the session.
